THE VNA PROCESS
HOW WE ESTABLISH YOUR NEXUS
Many veterans are told they can’t file a VA claim because their military medical records are missing or incomplete. At Veteran Nexus Advisors (VNA), we believe your service is a fact, even when the paperwork is missing. We specialize in Validating Service and Establishing the Nexus through a meticulous clinical reconstruction process we call The Forge.
STEP 1: THE INTAKE: UNCOVERING THE STORY
The process begins the moment you secure your med record review. You will be guided into our secure portal to share your history. We don't just want the records you do have; We start by Honoring your Service - and uncover the "clinical truth" of your service.
DATA INTEGRITY: Your information is protected with enterprise level security, ensuring your medical history remains confidential while we prepare for the deep dive.
THE FORGE: CLINICAL RECONSTRUCTION
Once your data is secured, your case enters The Forge. This is our dedicated window for clinical review and forensic analysis.
-
The Deep Dive: We cross-reference your service history with modern medical logic to bridge the gaps where records are thin.
-
The Meticulous Standard: Quality clinical work cannot be automated or rushed. We take the time necessary to ensure your Nexus is built on a foundation of medical integrity.

STEP 2 |
THE PROVIDER REVIEW
Authenticating the Truth
Once your records and intake are processed, you will move to the most critical phase: The Clinical Consultation.
-
Direct Engagement: You will meet with a qualified provider to conduct a comprehensive medical record review. This isn't a "check-the-box" appointment; it is an in-depth session designed to bridge the gap between your documented history and your current physical reality.
-
Clinical Validation: This meeting allows us to Authenticate your Service by discussing the symptoms, events, and stressors that might not be fully captured in your "official" folder.
STEP 3 |
THE CLINICAL FORGE
Relentless Reconstruction
Following your provider meeting, your case enters The Forge. This is where our clinical expertise meets your personal history.
-
Evidence Synthesis: We cross-reference your provider’s findings, your personal statements, and modern medical research to build a fortress of evidence.
-
The VNA Standard: We don't use templates. We apply clinical logic to bridge the gaps. We take the time to find the medical "signal" in the "noise" of your history.
STEP 4 | SELECT THE APPROPRIATE NEXUS LETTER OPTION
If the provider determines that a Nexus Letter is medically appropriate, you will be directed to purchase the correct Nexus Letter option based on the number of conditions supported.
Each Nexus Letter addresses a single condition and constitutes an independent medical opinion.

STEP 5 |
THE NEXUS STANDARD DELIVERY
Establishing the Connection
The final result is your comprehensive Clinical Nexus Analysis report—a high-tier document designed to speak the specific language the VA requires to grant your benefits.
Timeline: The 6-Week Standard
To maintain the highest level of clinical integrity, our typical turnaround time is approximately 6 weeks.
This window accounts for the scheduling of your provider review and the forensic-level analysis required to "Forge" a winning Nexus.
"We take the time to do it right the first time, so you don't have to do it a second time."
Turnaround Time Notice (Important)
Delays in submitting medical records, incomplete documentation, or the need for additional clarification may extend the turnaround time beyond 6 weeks. Writing timelines begins only after all required records and information are available for review.
IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE YOU PROCEED
WHY THE 6-WEEK STANDARD? In a system that oftern overlooks the individual, we refuse to rush. Our 6 week windo is a quality standard that allows for forensic-level scrutiny. We do the heavy clinical lifting now so your claim can stand stronger.
