EXPEDITED REVIEW SERVICE

The Expedited Review Service is an optional add-on for veterans who require priority handling of their case due to time-sensitive circumstances. When approved, this service moves your case to the front of the review and writing queue without compromising medical integrity or compliance.

Expedited services are available only after Medical Record Review and are subject to provider availability and medical appropriateness.

WHAT IS THE
EXPEDIATED REVIEW SERVICE?

The Expedited Review Service prioritizes the review and drafting of a medically supported Nexus Letter when time constraints exist. This service does not change the medical standard, evidence requirements, or outcome of the opinion — it only affects processing priority.

All expedited cases receive the same level of medical review, documentation analysis, and clinical reasoning as standard cases.

WHEN EXPEDITED REVIEW MAY BE APPROPRIATE

Expedited Review may be appropriate in situations such as:

  • An upcoming VA claim or evidence submission deadline

  • A pending appeal window

  • Time-sensitive personal or administrative circumstances

Expedited Review is not automatically granted and must be approved following Medical Record Review.
