Overview

The Medical Record Review is designed for veterans seeking professional medical insight and direction before moving forward with a Nexus Letter. This service provides clarity on whether your existing medical evidence may support a service-connected or secondary VA disability claim.

A licensed medical provider will review the medical records you submit and assess potential pathways for service connection based on your documented history.

This review is often the first step in determining whether a Nexus Letter is medically appropriate.

This Medical Record Review Focuses On:

  • Understanding your documented symptoms and medical history

  • Identifying potential primary or secondary service connection pathways

  • Reviewing up to two key conditions at a high-level

  • Assessing whether a Nexus Letter may be medically supported

  • Providing guidance on next steps and what additional evidence may be needed
